Transracial adoption is a hot topic. If you’re here, I can safely assume you’ve been exposed to the vitriol being spewed across the internet about the practice. But this site’s a little different.

While this blog (latest posts) is primarily a vehicle for promoting my project, its goal is to serve as a safe space to discuss race, adoption, and other related topics. There won’t be any “pro-” or “anti-” labels here; just constructive feedback, criticism, and a comfortable exchange of ideas.

Before you ask, no, I am not anti-adoption and no, I do not hate my parents. Check out those introductory posts so you can better understand my stance.

You’ll also find every peer-reviewed journal article I’m using for my project, as well as books, websites, and other resources to help inform your discussion. These are growing sections, so keep checking back.

I’ll also update my Facebook page with photos, news, and other cool stuff.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to getting to know you!

There are no angry adoptees here. Only real human beings searching for answers.
